I am currently a assistant professor at UCD Smurfit Business School. My research is mainly on empirical corporate finance, focusing on ESG/CSR, corporate misconduct, and CEOs. I was a postdoctoral research associate at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. I received my PhD from Durham University Business School in 2023. Prior to my doctoral studies, I completed a Master’s degree at Leeds University Business School (2017–2018) and earned my undergraduate degree from the School of Economics at Jilin University in China (2012–2016). My research has been published in prestigious journals, including Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Banking and Finance, and European Financial Management.
